A really special pre-Christmas break with three delights - Christmas lunch at Chatsworth, a demonstration at Coghlan's School of Cookery and the four-star Sheffield Park Hotel in Yorkshire.
The hotel
The Sheffield Park Hotel is situated between Sheffield and Chesterfield and features an award-winning restaurant and leisure club. A lift goes to all floors and each of the individually designed bedrooms features air conditioning, laptop safe, free mini fridge for your use, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and high speed broadband access as standard.
Itinerary
Day one - Sunday
We'll have coffee and lunch stops after leaving Reading before arriving at Coghlan's Cookery School for a cookery demonstration. The school is noted for the high quality of its ingredients and demonstrations by Master Chefs and this is a great opportunity to see them in action. Afterwards there'll be tea and cake and a chance to look around the cookery, food and wine shops - where you’ll be able to buy products at a discount. The hotel is a short drive away and you’ll be able to relax before dinner.
Day two - Monday
We head off to Chatsworth this morning where we'll be greeted and given time to explore the house and gardens at leisure. Chatsworth has been the home to the Cavendish family the 16th century and is the seat of the Duke of Devonshire. Set in parkland on the east bank of the River Derwent, the house features a unique collection of priceless paintings, furniture, drawings, sculptures, books and other artifacts. The house will have themed Christmas decorations to make the most of the season and after your explorations we’ll be served a Christmas lunch in the impressive 18th century stable block.

Terms and conditions
- Travel is subject to our standard Terms and Conditions - a copy will be sent to you after we receive your deposit, but you can request one before you book. We encourage you to read them.
- Deposit of £40.00 to be paid at the time of booking with balance 8 weeks before departure.
- Important - if you have any special dietary needs or mobility issues please let us know when booking.
