More summer Days Out from Reading, Berkshire with Two Rivers Travel
Posted on July 3rd, 2009 in Days Out.
The glorious summer weather continued for our Day Out from Reading to Peterborough – a fascinating place with its cathedral, markets and malls. Rather than struggle through the traffic, we gave our passengers the treat of a leisurely ride by steam train on the Nene Valley Railway (pictured below) for the final leg of the journey.

Back in Berkshire on July 1st, Two Rivers Travel was at Windsor Castle to witness the changing of the guard outside the famous royal residence.

Look out for more Days Out in July 2009 including Hampton Court Flower Show, Mamma Mia!, Eastbourne and Bournemouth/Poole.
Two Rivers Travel visits historic Western Front battlefields
Posted on June 4th, 2009 in Coach Trips.
Two Rivers Travel has recently undertaken a private tour from Reading, Berkshire to the preserved battlefields and world war memorials of Belgium and France.
This included a moving visit to the Menin Gate in Ypres for the daily ceremony of the sounding of the Last Post.
Here are photos of the Menin Gate, the Vimy Ridge Memorial and the Two Rivers Travel coach at Ypres.

Remember that more public trips are planned for later in the year as well as 2010, and full details for our holiday from Reading, Berkshire to Bruges and The Floralies in Ghent (starting 16 April 2010) will be published soon.
